dc.description.abstractThe evolution of the digital age has seen technology become increasingly mobile, accessible and the restaurant like other industries is using it to improve efficiency. The highly mobile food-ordering process is struggling to directly benefit despite the availability of adaptable technology. After reviewing available systems, this project aimed to develop a mobile-based order processing system prototype with a target of improving the processing time and then evaluate its effectiveness and feasibility. A combination of software development life cycle and design standards and techniques as well as appropriate research methods were used. Through the help of qualitative research methods and analytical tools, the test results confirm the achievement of the system’s target and effectiveness. Even though the results deem this system feasible, there is more to be done to improve the current results.en_US
