Abstract
The focus of the workshop is on inclusion. The goal is to ensure that people with disabilities have an opportunity to use technology to develop and participate in specific creative movement activities on an equal basis with others. The workshop will offer: 1. A step-by step guide to using the Somability software and recommended hardware. 2. Video demonstrations of use in day care settings, 3. Guidance on designing a practical session. 4. Ideas for the evaluation of user experience. The Somability workshop will offer practical methods to encourage creative, aerobic and therapeutic activity for people with disabilities and those who support them.

Description
This was an invited workshop at a prestigious international conference. I was featured in the programme as an international speaker and guest of honour at one of the conference dinners. My workshop was highly original in that it brought people with disabilities, practitioners, policy makers and researchers together to use technology to develop creative movement activities on an equal basis. Included in the workshop, were printed resources for using the Somability software and recommended hardware, video demonstrations of use in day care settings, guidelines for designing a practical session and a bespoke tool for the evaluation of user experience. Feedback from delegates supported the originality and significance of the Somability project in encouraging creative, aerobic and therapeutic activity for people with disabilities and those who support them.
