Abstract
The enterprise project was produced to analyse the feasibility of opening a vintage Tearoom in Worcester area. The project outlines the main decisions the author had to make with regards to the business plan and methods undertaken. To explore the feasibility of setting up Vintage Tearoom the author identified and set out a list of aims and objectives in order to complete the project.
After conducting a thorough literature review on the relevant available material on entrepreneurship, enterprise, business starts ups, economic environment, demographics of Worcester and the Coffee shop industry. Research was undertaken in the form of a questionnaire filled out by people in the Local Worcester area therefore it got a good sample of people living in the area and people visiting or passing through. The questionnaire was completed by 100 respondents and allowed the author to analyse the results to produce a detailed business plan to support her concept.
Out of the 100 people that participated in the questionnaire no one responded that they never attend a Tearoom. This showed demand for the business idea and proved to be a positive idea.
The financial forecasts were discussed in detail and 3 year forecasts were produced to the best of the authors knowledge. The author then discussed analysed and conducted the feasibility of setting up the proposed business.
