The aim of this project is to evaluate the feasibility of setting up a sport tour operator revolving around sporting events. To establish this aim the author produced a set of objectives shown in the introduction. The reason for choosing to create this business are due to the authors love of sporting events and love of travel allowing a combination of the two to produce a successful product. The project commences with secondary research in the form of a literature review in order to gain knowledge of the industry. Using books, journal articles, the internet and annual reports highlights the size and success of the industry and the market. Primary research was conducted using Qualtrics to produce a questionnaire that was distributed online. This was successfully completed by 153 participants after being shared to Cardiff Met Sport Forum and the Sport and Business Forum 2017 as well as a random sample. Using both the primary and secondary research the author was able to conduct business decisions including financial estimations to holistically assess whether the business idea is feasible. The business plan consisted of a large section of the project and included a SWOT and PESTLE analysis, competitor analysis, marketing strategy, financial statements, legal issues and more. This key component of the report proves the feasibility and profitability of the business idea by being a detailed analysis of every aspect. After finalising the business plan the author was able to critically investigate the process of creating the project and the recommendations that would be implemented if the project was to be carried out again as well as the limitations that inevitably occurred. In the final stages of the enterprise project the author revisited the objectives of the project and analysed whether the aims and objectives were accomplished.
