The aim of the project is: To evaluate the feasibility of setting up a craft beer pub in Cardiff. The objectives of the project are: • To conduct a comprehensive literature review of the current climate that the business would be operating in. • To carry out market research in order to gain an understanding of who the target market is and what trends are emerging. • To compile a business plan which will clearly outline the strategies that will be implemented and that will create financial forecasts to tests the businesses profitability. • To evaluate the results of the business plan which will assess the feasibility of the craft beer pub. • To conclude and offer recommendations on the project, and discuss whether the business would be valid in the future. Craft & Co will be an exciting new pub opening in Cardiff city centre. The business will focus on the sale of craft beer and will offer a small, quality food menu. The businesses will aim to provide best craft beers available from local breweries and from across the world. Market research has clearly shown that this is the perfect time for a new craft beer pub to enter the market in Cardiff. Craft beer popularity has been growing rapidly and it is becoming a popular alternative to traditional mainstream beers.
