The research contained in this paper consists of the full analysis of various machine learning techniques and their underlying algorithmic and mathematical principles. Further discussed is both the optimisation of the algorithms and their application to datasets. The technical development aspect of this paper consists of the application of Python programming scripts to dynamically prepare a genome DNA dataset from an opportunistic pathogen organism, the “Pseudomonas aeruginosa ”. Results are derived from further Python technical development by creating Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural Networks and Support Vector Machines, to analyse the newly created datasets. Accuracies and detailed metrics are then further analysed and prepared. Further improvements and a basis for further research is then recommended based on the experience acquired from the conduction of the experiments contained in this paper.

AN INVESTIGATION IN TEACHING STYLES WHERE INCLUSIVE PRACTICE IS ADOPTED WITHIN MAINSTREAM P.E. (DANCE) IN KEY STAGE 3 EDUCATION. Jones, Rebecca (University of Wales Institute Cardiff, 2012)This research investigates teaching styles where inclusive practice is adopted within mainstream P.E. (dance) in Key Stage 3 education. Through an analysis of teaching strategies within inclusion there has been some ...
Green, Laura (2013-02)The purpose of the current study was to provide a longitudinal examination of the stress and emotion process. Three female footballers were selected to take part in the study. Pre-match, post-match and post-training diary ...
An investigation into the effectiveness of 16- 19 education provision at one case study further education college in rural Wales. Pugh, Rebecca E H P (University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, 2006)The low number of UK sfudents currently progressing to post-compulsory education was the impetus for this enquiry. It identified a need for investigation into the effectiveness of 16 - 19 education provision. A case study ...
