Evaluate the Challenges Associated with Internal Supply Chain Integration in Family-owned Business. Case study: Basic Electronics Company

Supply chain management is one of the important topics in which a lot of researches and studies were prepared last 20 years. This is because of its importance and its ability to give the companies a competitive edge in a highly competitive market. The aim of this study is to evaluate and determine the challenges that face the internal supply chain management integration to reach to the integrated system with better coordination between the involved people and departments. Depending on the literature review and qualitative research, this study examines the key theories and concepts on developments in supply chain management, explores the challenges of developing and improving internal collaboration and communications within supply chain organizations, evaluates the challenges and strategies for developing and improving internal supply chain collaboration and communication within a particular focus on Basic Electronics Company, and evaluates the role of information technology and its effectiveness in supply chain integration in Basic Electronics. The literature review is important to make the questions which will be discussed with the selected sample during interviews. The findings of the interviews will be presented by discussing each challenge separately and offering some suggestions that help overcome these challenges.
