BREAKFAST AND BREAKFAST REPLACAMENT PRODUCTS

There are several studies has been carried out in relation to breakfast consumption and the effects of breakfast on health and wellbeing in people, but not many investigated the role of breakfast replacement products. The aim of this study is to find out the breakfast eating habits of the participants, how often they consume breakfast, what drives their breakfast choice (time, cost, nutritional value) and the effect of their attitudes when it comes to the first meal of the day. The research will also investigate the differences in breakfast consumption between weekdays and weekends and it will reveal the differences between the consumption of breakfast replacement products and more traditional breakfast items when the nutritional value of those foods is pointed out.
